Brigadier General (Ret.) Nissim Levy

After completing his four years of military service in the Israel Defense Forces as an officer in the Engineering Corps, Nissim Levy joined the Israel Police in 1985 and volunteered for the Police Bomb Disposal Unit. In 2005, he was elected as the Head of the Bomb Disposal division and promoted to commander.

Three years later, the Israel Police sent him to a one-year study at the IDF National Defense College (INDC). He earned a master’s degree in National Security studies from the University of Haifa. Right after, he was promoted to Brigadier General and became head of the Amakim district, commanding eight police stations.

Three years later, he became Commander of the Israel Police Senior Officers College. His last role was Deputy Commander of the Northern District.

In 2013, he retired from the Israeli Police and moved with his family to San Diego. In 2017, they relocated to Miami. After arriving in Miami, he joined the Riviera Parliament.

Nissim is married to Eti, and they have three children.
